Synopsis of the ASTI/IFPRI-FARA Conference on 'Agricultural R&D: Investing in Africa’s Future' Now Published

A synopsis of the paper presentations, panel discussions and deliberations at the December 2011 ASTI/IFPRI-FARA conference on “Agricultural R&D: Investing in Africa’s Future” is now posted. While the papers and discussions emanating from the conference noted important progress and developments, they also brought to light key issues still to be explored, important knowledge gaps yet to be filled and specific recommendations for addressing current and imminent challenges.
